Tutorial: Realistic Photographs

Create a new Layer.

Using the Selection Tool, select the top right 1/4 of the photograph (on the new layer, just use the photo as a guide).

Now, under your “Materials”, right click your “color swatch” and select the “gradient” tab. Click the “edit” button, and create a gradient that is dark gray to transparent. Choose the circular gradient, and position the center of the dark spot so it’s at the very right and top. Click okay.

Move to your photo, and fill the selected area of your layer with the Flood Fill Tool. Change the layer to 25% opacity.
