ahhh…joy

I’ve had a couple people complain about the layout of my site in IE6. I thought it was odd, because when I viewed it in IE6, things were fine. But then this last one, I decided to check again, and whoa - so weird. It *was* screwed. Guess I didn’t take my own advice about clearing the cache. My bad!

Anyway, fixed now.

So I’m still working on my to-do list. I’ve even added some stuff to the list since writing that version. One such addition will be a plugin - oh yeah. I’m gonna try a plugin I’ve noticed that the You Tube code throws my site into quirks mode with all the validation errors. I’ve been looking for a plugin that’ll do what I want - basically it has to apply SWFObject to call in the file with a tiny bit o’ javascript. However, the fun part is, WordPress doesn’t play well with javascripts that are put inside a post. You have to place the file in the header and call it in - but the problem with that is there’s more than one You Tube movie I may want to use in the whole site. So - plugin attempt, here we come!

Anyway, it’s been more than a month since I posted anything, and I wanted you to know I haven’t forgotten anyone. I’ve just got a lot on my plate right now - and as any designer knows, your own site always comes last. It’s on my list - but I haven’t knocked off the priority stuff first!
